    [Brussels, 12 January 2015] Last Friday, the EWL and other EU anti-discrimination networks participated in a roundtable discussion with Frans Timmermans, First Vice-President of the European Commission in charge of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights. On this occasion, the invited organisations agreed on a common statement calling on Frans Timmermans to strengthen equality and fundamental rights protection in the EU.
